A tree is always still, steady, and strong in his body; looking to maintain its integrity. It holds gracefully its nature of beauty and growth. It takes its time to grow, to expand, and learn from experiences and challenges. It’s confident that its roots will protect it and hold it in place. Its roots are warm and wet; receiving all the nutrients and support that it needs.
And on the other side, the branches are everywhere; exploring, reaching, and stretching. They blossom when it’s time. They grow as far as they can go. And those branches swirl and swing with finesse and grace; receiving every day the new sun rays and the wind oxygen. And at the same time, it gives space to other branches to grow and to embrace the same feeling of contentment and comfort. However, when a challenge arises, when strong winds or storms come by, the branches will move roughly. But, it will stay flexible and patient; waiting for this to pass. It’s flexible knowing that sometimes it has to let go of those branches that are no longer serving. Challenges and bad weather will always pass away.
Finally, when the worst has left, and everything is clear and the wind blows smoothly, it will rebalance itself back again to its full abilities and health. It will find its finesse and integrity and it will grow with a new perspective, with new branches, and it’ll blossom again with its pure light and energy.
As you see, we have those same qualities as trees. Most of us had gone through the same circumstances several times. Our bodies can be the representation of the trunk, strong and steady, comfortable knowing that our roots are strongly keeping us in balance. We grow with strength, flexibility, and courage. We are able to connect our bodies with our minds. Here is where our minds are going to be those branches that find space to create new things, that stretch to see new perspectives. They’ll blossom the true nature of that continuing connection of body and mind with our hearts in deep pure unconditional love energy that always resides within us.
And when the challenge is faced, it’s time to be flexible and work in; knowing when it’s time to let go of judgements or attachments, patterns and all that what is no longer serving us. Because we’re leaving space to re-blossom again with pure light and unconditional love.
I invite you to connect with the stillness that meditation can share with us. Connect with that integrity that your whole self has and with what you already have. Find to balance the connection of your body, your mind, and your heart to be free of fear, pain, and suffering. And find the joy with sweetness to blossom new creative ideas and broad perspectives. So, your mind and your life can see all the wonders that are around you. Be open for whatever comes in your life, and come back and keep going.
The light in me, recognizes the light in you,
