Silence

Lately, I have come to appreciate the magic across silence. There is that wholeness of wisdom, feeling of completeness and even ecstasy when we finally let silence lead us to what is next. Just like that. Silence is able to provide us the biggest gratifications that we can think of. Do we dare to find silence even in chaos? Can we find silence not only outside, but also inside?

If I personally would define it, silence is the empty space in between thoughts and a powerful tool that guides us to encounter our highest beliefs and our deepest true self. It can be uncomfortable but revealing. Silence helps us to recognize our breath that will follow a clear mind and an open heart. It can be heard in the wind, in the birds songs, in the movement of water, and the ocean waves. “The quietest you become, the more you can hear”


A gentle exercise that I suggest you to do right now is a reading meditation ;) you will only need to read very slowly, making pauses on periods and maybe read out loud to yourself. So, get ready and keep reading:


- Start by find a comfortable space to sit down. Let your spine find its own length. Relax your shoulders and arms. And keep reading while your body is finding its correct posture. Let the muscles of you face melt while your legs are melting as well into the ground. And now, from the base of your spine extend your self towards the crown of you head, up to the sky. Now, imagine a shower of light coming from down from the sky to your head; showering you slowly from head to toes. It’s a cleansing light that has the power to clean thoughts, pain, and all that is heavy in us. And suddenly, there is a beautiful emptiness surrounding you. If there is anything left to be cleansed, you should know that it can’t stand to be in such an amazing brightness. Everything is dissolved. The only thing that you can notice now is your breath that brings movement to your chest and keeps your body vibrant. Stay here enjoying this amazing pleasant feeling. Distractions keep melting away. There’s only you, the light and your breath. Stay steering some time into the following dots until you feel ready to move on. There’s not judgment because everything is clear and beautiful ...............*................. Now, come back to notice your breath, be aware of your fingers and toes, your skin, and the feelings around you and inside you. Take a deep breath and put your hands on your heart and be grateful for this amazing short time of your life that you allowed yourself to connect with something higher; your true self. Stay in this mode of gratitude as long as it feels right and when you feel ready keep going on your reading and day :)
