Living Yoga/Life in Harmony

The planet earth works in harmony because nature is always in balance. It has a beginning, a middle and an end in a coherent manner. Each element works in between each other to bring everything together to create life for itself and to others. Mother Earth contains energy and life by herself to reawaken as many possible times. She is able to restore herself all the time.

But what happens with us that we are not living in harmony. Some of us don’t even live in the present that even forget that we’re breathing most of the time. Of course this leads to unconfort, pain, illnesses and more.

In the yoga philosophy as in many other practices, we are provided with the option to accomplish harmony by integrating a beginning, a middle and an end that completes a whole system in our bodies, minds and spirits. Yoga, as reflection of life, is able to share with us the magic of self exploration, and growth. Without the joint of elements in ourselves is when we start developing anxieties, depressions, confusions, and self esteem.

When practicing yoga postures, we can always join all the elements (skin, bones, muscles, brain, thoughts, feelings) with the breath until that moment where the mind is able to relax and we can connect with a deeper layer of our divine selves. From there, self exploration guides us to look for more and enjoy.

There is a beautiful game in between yoga poses that is the transitions. Here we can explore more than just one state of mind or a yoga pose. The playfulness that we can acquire in between is what brings richness to the learning experiences. There isn’t just an ending that will resolve everything. It's the harmony of elements, just like nature, that can bring happiness and growth to our life journeys.

We could live in harmony, as always, it's just a matter of deciding to act as the observers ready to grasp the juices and richness of the experiences and even the breath.

I invite you to balance, just like in nature, with yoga and find balance by unifying mind, body spirit. What better than using yoga as our tool to reach that playful harmony of the elements and bring it into practice for real life.
