Today, I was wondering how many times in my life I have been working on getting myself in balance. Why do we have to struggle so much on this topic? Why it’s not as simple as the word sounds?... Balance!... For sure, we all need balance in our lives! If our physical body is designed to be in balance (like one central spine, two arms, two legs, just to mention a few), our life has to be a continuation of that balance.
I sat down to contemplate nature for a moment, and I founded so many things in balance. Mother Earth (how I like to call her) is in a consistent work and cleanse. It always dies and reborn, gets weaker and stronger, gives shelter and nurturing to the smallest and to the biggest. It’s a constant cycle of life. I have never seen nature looking sad or depressed because the snow is coming. It’s not stressed out because there are new flowers to bloom in Spring. Actually, if there is a fire, it’s great because there will be new opportunities and new ways to regrow and get stronger for something new and amazing.
Nature is always taking its time; it’s patient. It’s not in a rush to get to a goal. It flows in an enjoyable path to follow. For me, that enjoyable path looks like a plant taking its time to get all the appropriate nutrients to start giving a steam, followed by leaves, possibly flowers and even giving fruits. It lets insects and animals to nurture from itself. It gives to others without waiting to receive something back. Because, actually, somehow it knows that is going to receive back in different ways; just like the cycle of nature.
My invitation today is to find a moment to stop and admire nature for a couple minutes at least (or maybe visualize a forest, a beach, or a desert) and see your reflection on it. It’s like looking into a mirror that shows your true self. See how nature brings light, purity, nutrients, and most importantly wisdom. It nurtures everything on its way. It doesn't matter what is happening to it, it always finds its way to keep going as bright and beautiful as it is. Believe that you are the same as powerful and as beautiful as a rose or a tree. See your abilities of transformation and strength; just as nature works.
We are in a consistent move to find and work in our own nature. We are as pure, bright, and wise as nature. The only thing we have to do is to believe in it. We must believe that we can heal ourselves. We can nurture ourselves in order to nurture others. We have more abilities than we think and some of us ignore. As nature, we should know that we have to work constantly in ourselves and know that the good and the bad events that arise are just paths for us to work on them. We should be grateful for any challenge or event because they are making us stronger and wiser. And be grateful of your own nature. You are a unity of pureness and light. You are ready to shine.
The balance in me, recognizes the balance in you,
